Welcome to the home of the World in Flames Vassal Module.

New and Updated
Version 6.30 is the most
current version available. With this version you will get all the
counters for Africa Aflame,
This version includes a complete review and correction of all of the counters, modifications to the counter menu (moved the Flip to the top and changed the Delete hot key). The pieces also have a movement trail option as well. A 3D10 roller has been added for use with the new land combat rules in the 2008 Annual. A generic Convoy/Tanker Point piece has been added that allows the value to be changed between 1-10 on a single piece to make change easier and faster. A new Attack counter has also been added with a variable, user-selected odds number shown. I also added control flags for Free and Vichy France (thanks Patrice). The final big change was to double the size of the American Mini-map. Please note that although your saved games are compatible, you will not see the changes to the counters unless you replace the existing saved-game pieces with a new version from the counter list. Also, the new mini-map will really mess up the placement of pieces you have there so make a note on the 6.23 vesion saved game before moving to the 6.30 version.

It has also been brought to my attention that the Carrier Plane counters may be a little confusing at first. When making the counter images I discovered that the backs of the Carrier Plane counters are difficult to see. I included a text label beneath each counter stating the class-year of each plane.
